MeetIQ by Acjen AI helps turn meeting recordings into structured notes, decisions, risks, and action items. This page explains the current hosted processing model, data handling practices, and important limitations.
Hosted cloud processing
MeetIQ is currently operated as a hosted cloud service. The frontend runs on Vercel, the FastAPI backend and RQ worker run on Render, application data is stored in Postgres, background jobs use Redis, uploaded media may be stored in AWS S3, and billing may be handled through Square or PayPal.
Secure storage and access
MeetIQ uses authenticated account access and infrastructure controls intended to limit access to customer data. Uploaded recordings, transcripts, generated notes, file metadata, and operational records may be stored as needed to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and support deletion requests.
Customer data use
MeetIQ does not sell customer recordings, transcripts, generated notes, or account data. Customer data is used to operate, support, and secure the service. MeetIQ does not use customer recordings or generated notes for quality improvement unless the account owner explicitly opts in.
AI processing and training
Uploaded recordings may be processed by transcription and AI systems to generate meeting notes. Confidential Mode meetings are never used for quality improvement, even if account-level opt-in is enabled. Users can turn quality improvement opt-in off anytime from the Account page. Paid users who opt in may receive additional monthly uploads as shown in their account usage page.
Deletion controls
Users can delete meetings from the product. MeetIQ is designed to remove the related meeting record and associated active storage objects where supported by the current deployment. Limited technical records may remain temporarily in logs, backups, or provider systems for security, reliability, debugging, abuse prevention, or legal purposes.
Confidential Mode
Standard Mode keeps the original recording unless the user deletes the meeting. Confidential Mode deletes the original recording after notes are generated. Generated notes remain available unless the user deletes the meeting.
Business retention options
Business customers can request stricter retention expectations, privacy review, and data-handling discussions before wider rollout. These requests are reviewed manually so MeetIQ can confirm what is supportable for the customer's workflow and current deployment.
Current limitations
MeetIQ is an early-access hosted product. MeetIQ does not currently claim SOC 2 certification, customer-facing audit logs, or customer-hosted / private deployment. Customers with strict compliance, regulated-data, or internal security-review requirements should contact support before uploading sensitive recordings.
Privacy and data terms review
Business customers can request manual review of privacy and data terms, including retention expectations, support access, and acceptable meeting use cases. MeetIQ will keep commitments conservative and aligned with the product's current capabilities.
